Kirnie Law Mountain Rescue Access
Upgrade to provide more reliable mountain rescue access
Getting a 3 Ton Landrover through a half meter silted up ditch isn't the best as far as reliably being able to access the top of Priesthope and Kirnie Law.
With FLS permission we have been autorised to upgrade the track junction to make the route up a more reliable for the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue team in their vehicle.
Vehicular access means the team can get themselves, with full kit, closer to casualties on the hill.
66 volunteer hours, 21 loads of aggregate and lots of shovelling later and we're done.
