Matilde Garcia - Board Member

Originally from Portugal, Matilde moved to the Tweed Valley four years ago and has felt at home ever since. 

During her seven-year journey transitioning from a career in digital marketing to engineering, she fell in love with Scotland’s landscapes and the vibrant outdoor community. As a keen mountain biker, Matilde is passionate about contributing to the local trails and supporting the community of riders and builders who make the Tweed Valley such a special place. 

When she’s not working or volunteering, she enjoys riding the trails with friends and spending time outdoors with her partner and their two dogs.
